The Road... travelled......

It is good to have an end to journey towards;
but it is the journey that matters in the end.
- Ursula K. Le Guin

It has become a bit cliche but it remains a truth - the destination pales in comparison to the actual trip and journey.

Whatever the goal, whatever the aspiration and desire, all that really matters is what happens on that road to the golden ring!

This is why we must embrace - not fear or avoid our daily trials and struggles!!

Wake up each morning with the expectation that life will most likely throw you a curveball at some point - but do not lament this likelihood!

Recognize it as an inevitable piece of our final puzzle and one that we NEED to make us into the person we are striving to become - the person we are intended to be.

Accept the challenge with a determined, calm and confident smile and attitude and you cannot go wrong!

Sure, the idea of sitting on a yacht in the Mediterranean sipping champagne and relaxing all day can have it's appeal to many. However,  even luxury can have it's drawbacks!

We will most likely not look back on our moments of relaxation and boredom all those years from now as important parts of our lives - instead it will be our BATTLES AND TRIUMPHS over adversity and trouble that will define who we are and what we did during this short period here on earth!

And think about it - as long as we keep rising to meet the bell when we are put down on our rear ends by some of life's left hooks, we WILL ALWAYS TRIUMPH!!

ALWAYS!

This is a fact!

Enjoy the short journey - the roses and the thorns both have their roles to play in it!

Stay Strong!!!
