On September 10, 2001, two American Airline pilots who had never met each other made separate decisions and their fates were forever entwined!!!
Say a prayer today for all those who were lost that horrific day, for all those left behind here without them, and pray for those so consumed in hatred that they can conceive and carry out such evil deeds!!! May their hearts be changed.
For those still struggling even after all of these years with the "Why" of the event:
"Matthew teaches the meaning of our Lord's passion by referring to the Bible's depiction of the suffering just person. Like the suffering of the just, Jesus' pain is also salvific.
Meditating on our Lord's passion and death and referring it to our own pain and frustrations, we should not insist on "why"? Often there is no answer but Faith in God, who has designed this life as a transition to a better one to come.
PRAY for strength to accept life and it's frustrations as Jesus has done.
"Your will be done." (MT 36:39)
