So much of what we accomplish in our lives is the direct result of taking the first step toward a goal.
We tend to over complicate what it takes to achieve Greatness in our lives!
Greatness can be defined in many different ways and to me Greatness is not what conventional society or wisdom often deems it to be.
Greatness is very difficult to pin down and many a time some are said to achieve Greatness yet seem completely miserable in that highly coveted state.
If that is Greatness, you can count me out right now.
No, to me Greatness comes as a by product of service to others. It comes from kindness and compassion for others, especially when it is easiest to look the other way and go on with our lives.
I have never been accused of achieving Greatness using any definition of the word.
But I do know this for a fact - if we want to achieve Greatness we must cut the line and set sail toward that state!
And we must do it NOW!
There is no time to wait!
The time to begin your new chapter is NOW!!
The first step is often the hardest in the march to our own peace and joy, but it is the most critical one you will take!
Forget the past as it holds zero bearing on your present and future!!
All that matters is now - and what we do with our "Now"!
No matter what it is, go forward fully in strength and faith with unwavering focus on the goal!!!
Set it high and do not let anyone or anything sway you from your path!!!
You will encounter rough seas, doubts, discouragement, head winds, and challenges that will make you contemplate quitting - BUT YOU MUST STAY THE COURSE!
Embrace the challenge as it will make you a better and stronger person!!
Your Greatness awaits your first step in its direction!!!
You are ready right now!!
You are not alone in the journey!!!
