Do Not Worry About Tomorrow!!!

I AM PERPETUALLY WITH YOU, taking care of you.

That is the most important fact of your existence.

I am not limited by time or space; My Presence with you is a forever-promise.

You need not fear the future, for I am already there.

When you make that quantum leap into eternity, you will find Me awaiting you in heaven.

Your future is in My hands; I release it to you day by day, moment by moment.

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow.

I want you to live this day abundantly, seeing all there is to see, doing all there is to do.

Don't be distracted by future concerns.

Leave them to Me!

Each day of life is a glorious gift, but so few people know how to live within the confines of today.

Much of their energy for abundant living spills over the time line into tomorrow's worries or past regrets.

Their remaining energy is sufficient only for limping through the day, not for living it to the full.

I am training you to keep your focus on My Presence in the present.

This is how to receive abundant Life, which flows freely from My throne of grace.

MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU.

It's one thing to believe it when circumstances are going your way.

It's another thing altogether when you're struggling just to take the next step.

Yet this is when My grace is the most precious and glorious—when you know you cannot go another step without it.

Then it becomes the shining focus of your life.

I invite you to drink deeply from the exceeding riches of My grace—My favor, mercy, and lovingkindness.

It is a free gift that opens the way for you into eternity.

It also provides what you need to live now, in this fractured world.

So come freely into My Presence and pour out your heart to Me.

I do not always say yes to your petitions, but I do give you what you need.

And I always give you Myself—My compassionate understanding, My unfailing Love.

Do not be ashamed of your weaknesses; boast about them!

Through them you are learning to depend more on Me, so that My Power may dwell in you.

Your Hiding Place From All Trouble

IN THIS WORLD OF INCREASING ELECTRONIC surveillance, privacy can be hard to come by.

Safe places are also in short supply.

So when you feel surrounded by trouble, remember this: I am your Hiding Place.

Call out to Me, and I will protect you from trouble.

I will even surround you with songs of deliverance.

One of the best ways to draw upon My strength is to sing praises to Me.

I actually dwell in the praises of My people.

So when problems are weighing heavily upon you, break free by worshiping Me—in songs, in shouts, even in whispers.

These sacred acclamations decimate the darkness and invite Me into your awareness, brightening the atmosphere around you.

Problems fade into the background while you are engaged in worshiping Me.

Awareness of My Presence strengthens you and fills you with Joy.

When you praise Me in the midst of a hard day, both you and I are blessed.

I come near, and I hide you in the secret place of My Presence.

Soothe Your Troubled Heart

LET MY COMFORTS DELIGHT YOUR SOUL.

The world presents you with a multitude of anxieties—too numerous for you to count.

Everywhere you turn, you see problems and trouble.

In the midst of this mess, look to Me for help.

Whisper My Name, "Jesus," thus reactivating your awareness of My Presence.

Your perspective changes dramatically as My Presence comes onto the screen of your consciousness, lighting up your worldview.

My comforts can soothe your troubled heart and delight your soul.

If the world were perfect, you would never experience the pleasure of receiving comfort from Me.

Instead of letting problems discourage you, use them as reminders to seek Me—My Presence, My Peace, My Love.

These invisible realities are available to you any time, any place, and they provide Joy that no one can take away from you.

So come to Me when you are weary and burdened; I will provide rest for your soul.

Just getting through each day is a victory as long as you stay in communication with Me.

Search for Me in your moments.

Keeping your focus on My Presence is the best protection against self-pity and depression.

I am calling you to trust Me in deep darkness.

Take one step at a time, clinging to My hand for help and guidance.

I am always near you, and I know exactly how much you are struggling.

Though the battle is fierce and you are weak, your resources are unlimited.

My Spirit is ever ready to help you; you have only to ask.

Remember that this Holy Helper is infinitely powerful and infinitely loving.

I also am eager to help you.

Call upon My Name with confident trust, for My unfailing Love surrounds you.

Supply All You Need

I AM THE LORD OF PEACE.

I GIVE YOU PEACE at all times and in every way.

There is a deep, gaping hole within you that can be filled only by My peaceful Presence.

People who don't know Me try to fill that emptiness in many different ways, or they simply pretend it isn't there.

Even My children often fail to recognize the full extent of their need: at all times and in every situation.

But recognizing your neediness is only half the battle.

The other half is to believe I can—and will—supply all you need.

Shortly before My death, I promised Peace to My disciples—and to all who would become My followers.

I made it clear that this is a gift: something I provide freely and lovingly.

So your responsibility is to receive this glorious gift, acknowledging to Me not only your need but also your desire.

Then wait expectantly in My Presence, ready to receive My Peace in full measure.

If you like, you can express your openness by saying, "Jesus, I receive Your Peace."

Trials

"When you experience trials, you often catch yourself reevaluating life.

If you happen to be rich, you realize that trials can bring you down to poverty.

Most of James's readers were poor and had become even poorer through the persecution leveled against them.

But James would not let them be discouraged.

He told them that they should rejoice in the fact that they were being exalted.

They had been low and were made high!

Through poverty, they had developed a humble spirit that would keep their hearts open toward God.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"(Matt. 5: 3).

R. W. Dale reminds the poor man of his true position in Christ:

"Let him remember that he is a prince, and glory in it. He is a prince on his way to his kingdom, traveling by rough roads, enduring many hardships, suffering from hunger, cold, and weariness, and the people among whom he is traveling do not know anything about his greatness; but he knows; let him glory in his high estate!"

God's testings have a way of bringing about equality in His family.

When testing comes to the poor man, he lets God have His way and rejoices that he possesses spiritual riches that cannot be taken from him.

When testing comes to the rich man, he also lets God have His way and rejoices that his riches in Christ cannot wither or fade away.

James's reference to the wealthy man and the comparative shortness of human life reminds him of the wildflowers that carpeted the hillsides of his native land.

They were dazzlingly beautiful for a few weeks in the spring after the rains had come, but their beauty was always short lived.

Using poetic language that should have been familiar to his Jewish readers (Job 14: 2; Ps. 102: 11; 103: 15–16; Isa. 40: 6–8; 1 Peter 1: 24–25), James describes the blistering heat that followed the rainy season and withered the flowers.

The short life of blossoms in Palestine provided a good illustration of the rich man.

When the heat of trials separated the wealthy from his wealth, the Christian rich man calculated that he would have had it for only a short time anyway.

He knew that he had really lost nothing since Christ was everything to him.

Hudson Taylor, founder of the China Inland Mission, was talking to a young missionary who was about to start work in China.

"Look at this,"Taylor said, and then proceeded to pound his fist on the table.

The teacups jumped, and the tea was spilled all over the table.

While the startled young man was wondering what was going on, Taylor said,

"When you begin your work, you will be buffeted in numerous ways. The trials will be like blows. Remember, these blows will bring out only what is in you."

We are saved by trusting in Christ, but we are crowned when we are tested by fire and continue to love Him."

Arsenal of Prayers

USE YOUR TRIALS AND TROUBLES TO DRAW closer to Me.

Whenever you start to feel distressed, turn that around by talking with Me.

Let pain and problems remind you of your constant need for Me.

Create a collection of brief prayers, such as:

"Help me, Jesus.
Fill me with your Peace.
Show me Your way."

These requests are spiritual nutrients—soul vitamins.

The more you use them, the healthier and happier you will be.

When you view troubles in this way—as reminders to draw near Me—you can actually rejoice in your trials.

Of course, this requires training your mind to move quickly from problem mode to prayer mode.

It is crucial to have your arsenal of prayers ready to use.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your preparations: helping you form prayers that will flow readily out of your heart.

Then practice saying them to Me, until you're intimately familiar with them.

When you encounter trouble of any kind, reach into your arsenal of prayers and speak one or more of them boldly.

The enemy will retreat, and I will draw near.

Find Hope in Me

Life Lessons

1.  Concentrate on finding a big idea that will make an impact on the people you want to influence.  The Ten Surprises, which I started doing in 1986, has been a defining product.  People all over the world are aware of it and identify me with it.  What they seem to like about it is that I put myself at risk by going on record with these events which I believe are probable and hold myself accountable at year-end.  If you want to be successful and live a long, stimulating life, keep yourself at risk intellectually all the time.


2.  Network intensely.  Luck plays a big role in life, and there is no better way to increase your luck than by knowing as many people as possible.  Nurture your network by sending articles, books and emails to people to show you're thinking about them.  Write op-eds and thought pieces for major publications.  Organize discussion groups to bring your thoughtful friends together.


3.  When you meet someone new, treat that person as a friend.  Assume he or she is a winner and will become a positive force in your life.  Most people wait for others to prove their value.  Give them the benefit of the doubt from the start.  Occasionally you will be disappointed, but your network will broaden rapidly if you follow this path.


4.  Read all the time.  Don't just do it because you're curious about something, read actively.  Have a point of view before you start a book or article and see if what you think is confirmed or refuted by the author.  If you do that, you will read faster and comprehend more.


5.  Get enough sleep.  Seven hours will do until you're sixty, eight from sixty to seventy, nine thereafter, which might include eight hours at night and a one-hour afternoon nap.


6.  Evolve.  Try to think of your life in phases so you can avoid a burn-out.  Do the numbers crunching in the early phase of your career.  Try developing concepts later on.  Stay at risk throughout the process.


7.  Travel extensively.  Try to get everywhere before you wear out.  Attempt to meet local interesting people where you travel and keep in contact with them throughout your life.  See them when you return to a place.


8. When meeting someone new, try to find out what formative experience occurred in their lives before they were seventeen.  It is my belief that some important event in everyone's youth has an influence on everything that occurs afterwards.


9.  On philanthropy my approach is to try to relieve pain rather than spread joy.  Music, theatre and art museums have many affluent supporters, give the best parties and can add to your social luster in a community.  They don't need you.  Social service, hospitals and educational institutions can make the world a better place and help the disadvantaged make their way toward the American dream.


10.     Younger people are naturally insecure and tend to overplay their accomplishments.  Most people don't become comfortable with who they are until they're in their 40's.  By that time they can underplay their achievements and become a nicer, more likeable person.  Try to get to that point as soon as you can.


11.      Take the time to give those who work for you a pat on the back when they do good work.  Most people are so focused on the next challenge that they fail to thank the people who support them.  It is important to do this.  It motivates and inspires people and encourages them to perform at a higher level.


12.     When someone extends a kindness to you write them a handwritten note, not    an e-mail.  Handwritten notes make an impact and are not quickly forgotten.


13.     At the beginning of every year think of ways you can do your job better than you have ever done it before.  Write them down and look at what you have set out for yourself when the year is over.


14.     The hard way is always the right way.  Never take shortcuts, except when driving home from the Hamptons.  Short-cuts can be construed as sloppiness, a career killer.


15.     Don't try to be better than your competitors, try to be different.  There is always going to be someone smarter than you, but there may not be someone who is more imaginative.


16.     When seeking a career as you come out of school or making a job change, always take the job that looks like it will be the most enjoyable.  If it pays the most, you're lucky.  If it doesn't, take it anyway, I took a severe pay cut to take each of the two best jobs I've ever had, and they both turned out to be exceptionally rewarding financially.


17.     There is a perfect job out there for everyone.  Most people never find it.  Keep looking.  The goal of life is to be a happy person and the right job is essential to that.


18.     When your children are grown or if you have no children, always find someone younger to mentor.  It is very satisfying to help someone steer through life's obstacles, and you'll be surprised at how much you will learn in the process.


19.     Every year try doing something you have never done before that is totally out of your comfort zone.  It could be running a marathon, attending a conference that interests you on an off-beat subject that will be populated by people very different from your usual circle of associates and friends or traveling to an obscure destination alone.  This will add to the essential process of self-discovery.

20.    Never retire.  If you work forever, you can live forever.  I know there is an abundance of biological evidence against this theory, but I'm going with it anyway

TRUST ME AND REFUSE TO WORRY

TRUST ME AND REFUSE TO WORRY, for I am your Strength and Song.

You are feeling wobbly this morning, looking at difficult times looming ahead, measuring them against your own strength.

However, they are not today's tasks—or even tomorrow's.

So leave them in the future and come home to the present, where you will find Me waiting for you.

Since I am your Strength, I can empower you to handle each task as it comes.

Because I am your Song, I can give you Joy as you work alongside Me.

Keep bringing your mind back to the present moment.

Among all My creatures, only humans can anticipate future events.

This ability is a blessing, but it becomes a curse whenever it is misused.

If you use your magnificent mind to worry about tomorrow, you cloak yourself in dark unbelief.

However, when the hope of heaven fills your thoughts, the Light of My Presence envelops you.

Though heaven is future, it is also present tense.

As you walk in the Light with Me, you have one foot on earth and one foot in heaven.

I Will Not be Shaken

I AM THE FOUNDATION AND FOCUS OF YOUR life.

I am a firm Foundation: one that will not be shaken.

Before you knew Me as Savior, you had nothing to build your life upon.

Every time you tried to create something meaningful, it would eventually collapse—like a house of cards.

Without Me, everything is ultimately "Meaningless! Meaningless!"

Ever since I became your Savior, you have been building on the Rock of My Presence.

Some of the things you've worked on have flourished and others have not, but you always have a firm place to stand—on the foundation I've provided for you.

The key to steadiness in your life is to set Me always before you.

When you make Me your Focus, you can walk steadily along your life-path.

Many distractions will vie for your attention along the way, but I am the Guide who is continually before you.

So keep looking ahead to Me.

See Me beckoning you on—step by step by step—all the way to heaven.

No More Worry

TRY TO SEE THINGS more and more from My perspective.

Let the Light of My Presence so fully fill your mind that you view the world through Me.

When little things don't go as you had hoped, look to Me lightheartedly and say, "Oh, well."

This simple discipline can protect you from being burdened with an accumulation of petty cares and frustrations.

If you practice this diligently, you will make a life-changing discovery: You realize that most of the things that worry you are not important.

If you shrug them off immediately and return your focus to Me, you will walk through your days with lighter steps and a joyful heart.

When serious problems come your way, you will have more reserves for dealing with them.

You will not have squandered your energy on petty problems.

You may even reach the point where you can agree with the apostle Paul that all your troubles are light and momentary, compared with the eternal glory being achieved by them.

No Need to Panic

LEARN TO LIVE FROM A PLACE OF RESTING in Me.

Since I—the Prince of Peace—am both with and within you, you can choose to live from this peaceful place of union with Me.

This enables you to stay calm in the midst of stressful situations, by re-centering yourself in Me.

We can deal with your problems together—you and I—so there is no need to panic.

However, the more difficult your circumstances, the more tempting it is for you to shift into high gear and forget My peaceful Presence.

As soon as you realize you have wandered from your place of Peace, return to Me immediately.

Call upon My Name, for this reconnects you with Me and helps you feel safe.

Don't be discouraged by how often you wander from Me.

You are endeavoring to form a new habit, and this takes time plus persistent effort.

The rewards, though, are well worth your efforts.

The more you return to Me—to our resting place—the more peaceful and joyful your life will be.

Above All You Ask or Think

I WILL RESTORE YOU TO HEALTH AND HEAL your wounds.

I am with you, within you, all around you—continually at work in your life.

When your awareness of Me grows dim, My Presence continues to shine brightly upon you.

This Light has immense healing Power.

So dare to ask great things of Me, remembering who I am.

I am able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think.

Pondering My limitless ability to help you will strengthen your faith and encourage you to pray boldly.

Praying in My Name—with perseverance—can accomplish great things.

Learn from the parable of the persistent widow, who refused to give up.

She kept bringing her petition to a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men.

Eventually, her persistence wore him down, and he gave her what she sought.

How much more will I respond to My children who cry out to Me day and night! Though you may have to wait a bit, do not give up.

Your Refuge

As you go through this day, you will encounter many things that can make you anxious, including some of your thoughts.

If you don't stay alert, anxious feelings can slip into your day without your noticing them.

When this happens, you may wonder why you suddenly start to feel bad.

Usually, you just ignore those feelings.

Or you may try to numb them with food, drink, television, gossip, or other distractions.

How much better it is to "catch" the worry-thoughts before they take hold of you.

That is why I say, "Be on the alert!"

If you are watchful and alert, you can choose to take refuge in Me whenever anxiety comes at you.

A refuge is a place that provides protection or shelter: a safe haven.

It is something you turn to for help, relief, or escape.

I am eager to be your Refuge, and I am with you at all times.

Nonetheless, you must exert your will by turning to Me for help.

Thus, you make Me your refuge, demonstrating your trust in Me.

Blessed—happy, to be envied—is the one who takes refuge in Me.

Cast All Your Anxiety

SOMETIMES MY SOVEREIGN HAND—MY CONTROL over your life—places you in humbling circumstances.

You feel held down, held back, and powerless to change things.

You long to break free and feel in control of your life once again.

Although this is an uncomfortable position, it is actually a good place to be.

Your discomfort awakens you from the slumber of routine and reminds you that I am in charge of your life.

It also presents you with an important choice:

You can lash out at your circumstances—resenting My ways with you—or you can draw closer to Me.

When you are suffering, your need for Me is greater than ever.

The more you choose to come near Me, affirming your trust in Me, the more you can find hope in My unfailing Love.

You can even learn to be joyful in hope while waiting in My Presence—where Joy abounds.

Persevere in trusting Me, and I will eventually lift you up.

Meanwhile, cast all your anxiety on Me, knowing that I care for you affectionately and am watching over you continually.

Stay Strong!

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.

Strengthen and Help

RELAX IN MY PRESENCE, KNOWING THAT nothing can separate you from My Love.

The worst-case scenario in your life—that I might stop loving you—is not even in the realm of possibility.

So rejoice that you don't have to perform well enough to earn My Love, or to keep it.

This Love is pure gift, flowing out of My own perfect righteousness.

It secures your connection to Me—your Savior—for all eternity.

Since the worst thing imaginable is not possible, you can relax and live more abundantly.

When things are going well in your life, I want you to enjoy those good times fully—without worrying about what is on the road ahead.

When you are facing tough times, I will help you and strengthen you with My Love.

Even though you live in a world where trouble is inescapable, you can be of good cheer because I have overcome the world!

Healing

I AM A GOD WHO HEALS.

I heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, broken lives, and broken relationships.

My very Presence has immense healing powers.

You cannot live close to Me without experiencing some degree of healing.

However, it is also true that you have not because you ask not.

You receive the healing that flows naturally from My Presence, whether you seek it or not.

But there is more—much more—available to those who ask.

The first step in receiving healing is to live ever so close to Me.

The benefits of this practice are too numerous to list.

As you grow more and more intimate with Me, I reveal My will to you more directly.

When the time is right, I prompt you to ask for healing of some brokenness in you or in another person.

The healing may be instantaneous, or it may be a process.

That is up to Me.

Your part is to trust Me fully and to thank Me for the restoration that has begun.

I rarely heal all the brokenness in a person's life.

Even My servant Paul was told, "My grace is sufficient for you,"when he sought healing for the thorn in his flesh.

Nonetheless, much healing is available to those whose lives are intimately interwoven with Mine.

Renewed

CHRIST PROVIDES THE CURE

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation."

"Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could find a medicine that would absolutely cure human nature's weaknesses and failures?

Conflict, discontent, and unhappiness plague people everywhere.

But suppose a cure could be found for humanity's ills.

It would cause a worldwide stampede!

The most thrilling news in the world is that there is a cure!

God has provided the medicine—and that "medicine" is Christ.

Through Him our sins can be forgiven, and by His Holy Spirit within us our lives can be changed and renewed.

Sin, confusion, and disillusionment can be replaced by righteousness, joy, and hope.

Our souls can know peace, a peace that is not dependent on outward circumstances.

This cure was provided two thousand years ago by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection for us.

Is He working daily in your life, changing you and making you more like Him?

Are you allowing Him to do so?

Are you Asking? Seeking? Knocking?"

Do Not Let Your Hearts be Troubled

RECEIVE MY PEACE.

It is My continual gift to you.

The best way to receive this gift is to sit quietly in My Presence, trusting Me in every area of your life.

Quietness and trust accomplish far more than you can imagine: not only in you, but also on earth and in heaven.

When you trust Me in a given area, you release that problem or person into My care.

Spending time alone with Me can be a difficult discipline, because it goes against the activity addiction of this age.

You may appear to be doing nothing, but actually you are participating in battles going on within spiritual realms.

You are waging war—not with the weapons of the world, but with heavenly weapons, which have divine power to demolish strongholds.

Living close to Me is a sure defense against evil.

The Secret

REJOICE IN ME ALWAYS!

No matter what is going on, you can rejoice in your Love-relationship with Me.

This is the secret of being content in all circumstances.

So many people dream of the day when they will finally be happy: when they are out of debt, when their children are out of trouble, when they have more leisure time, and so on.

While they daydream, their moments are trickling into the ground like precious balm spilling wastefully from overturned bottles.

Fantasizing about future happiness will never bring fulfillment, because fantasy is unreality.

Even though I am invisible, I am far more Real than the world you see around you.

My reality is eternal and unchanging.

Bring your moments to Me, and I will fill them with vibrant Joy.

Now is the time to rejoice in My Presence!

Trust during hard times..

"Trusting does not mean you never experience life's valleys.

There will always be peaks and valleys as long as you live on this physical plane.

There is no happiness without the opposite experience of unhappiness.

Opposites are the way it is in the physical plane.

Expect that this is also your reality.

Do not abandon trust when your ego thinks things should be different than they are.

It is better to embrace trust when darkness is present, knowing that light will follow.

Begin to look for the lesson in the darkness rather than cursing it.

Trust allows you simply to observe the dark and unhappy times rather than identifying totally with those aspects of life.

From this perspective you are not at the mercy of your ego energy, insisting that everything must be perfect, and that when things are not, you have reasons to give up your trust in the Divine."

The Promise

I AM ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO YOU.

Once you have trusted Me as your Savior, I never distance Myself from you.

Sometimes you may feel distant from Me.

Recognize that as feeling; do not confuse it with reality.

The Bible is full of My promises to be with you always.

As I assured Jacob, when he was journeying away from home into unknown places, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.

My last recorded promise to My followers was: Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Let these assurances of My continual Presence fill you with Joy and Peace.

No matter what you may lose in this life, you can never lose your relationship with Me.

Trust in Me

WALK WITH ME ALONG PATHS OF TRUST.

The most direct route between point A and point B on your life-journey is the path of unwavering trust in Me.

When your faith falters, you choose a trail that meanders and takes you well out of your way.

You will get to point B eventually, but you will have lost precious time and energy.

As soon as you realize you have wandered from your trust-path, look to Me and whisper, "I trust You, Jesus."

This affirmation will help you get back on track.

The farther you roam along paths of unbelief, the harder it is to remember that I am with you.

Anxious thoughts branch off in all directions, taking you farther and farther from awareness of My Presence.

You need to voice your trust in Me frequently.

This simple act of faith will keep you walking along straight paths with Me.

Trust in Me with all your heart, and I will make your paths straight.

All that You Need

ACCEPT EACH DAY exactly as it comes to you.

By that, I mean not only the circumstances of your day but also the condition of your body.

Your assignment is to trust Me absolutely, resting in My sovereignty and faithfulness.

On some days, your circumstances and your physical condition feel out of balance: The demands on you seem far greater than your strength.

Days like that present a choice between two alternatives—giving up or relying on Me.

Even if you wrongly choose the first alternative, I will not reject you.

You can turn to Me at any point, and I will help you crawl out of the mire of discouragement.

I will infuse My strength into you moment by moment, giving you all that you need for this day.

Trust Me, by relying on My empowering Presence.

Protection from All Trouble

IN CLOSENESS TO ME, you are safe.

In the intimacy of My Presence, you are energized.

No matter where you are in the world, you know you belong when you sense My nearness.

Ever since the Fall, man has experienced a gaping emptiness that only My Presence can fill.

I designed you for close communication with your Creator.

How I enjoyed walking in the garden with Adam and Eve, before the evil one deceived them!

When you commune with Me in the garden of your heart, both you and I are blessed.

This is My way of living in the world—through you!

Together we will push back the darkness, for I am the Light of the world.

Joy out of Sorrow; Peace Out of Adversity

I AM YOUR BEST FRIEND, as well as your King.

Walk hand in hand with Me through your life.

Together we will face whatever each day brings: pleasures, hardships, adventures, disappointments.

Nothing is wasted when it is shared with Me.

I can bring beauty out of the ashes of lost dreams.

I can glean Joy out of sorrow, Peace out of adversity.

Only a Friend who is also the King of kings could accomplish this divine alchemy.

There is no other like Me!

The friendship I offer you is practical and down-to-earth, yet it is saturated with heavenly Glory.

Living in My Presence means living in two realms simultaneously: the visible world and unseen, eternal reality.

I have equipped you to stay conscious of Me while walking along dusty, earthbound paths

Strengthen and Empower You

Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits."
(Psalm 103:2, NIV)

Forget Not His Benefits
God has given us many benefits today!

He's given us so much to be thankful for.

When you meditate on His goodness, faithfulness and blessings in your life, it will change you on the inside.

When you focus on the fact that He saved you and set you free, the challenges and obstacles in your life will begin to fade away.

Psalm 103 goes on to say that "He crowns you with love and compassion and satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed."

No matter what you may be facing today, forget not His benefits!

God wants to satisfy you with good things.

If you need healing today, healing is a benefit.

If you've made mistakes in your life, forgiveness is a benefit.

If you feel tired and overwhelmed, strength is a benefit.

As you turn your thoughts toward the Father today, He will strengthen and empower you to live as an overcomer in every area of your life!

For when I am Weak, then I am Strong

LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON ME is a glorious adventure.

Most people scurry around busily, trying to accomplish things through their own strength and ability.

Some succeed enormously; others fail miserably.

But both groups miss what life is meant to be: living and working in collaboration with Me.

When you depend on Me continually, your whole perspective changes.

You see miracles happening all around, while others see only natural occurrences and "coincidences."

You begin each day with joyful expectation, watching to see what I will do.

You accept weakness as a gift from Me, knowing that My Power plugs in most readily to consecrated weakness.

You keep your plans tentative, knowing that My plans are far superior.

You consciously live, move, and have your being in Me, desiring that I live in you.

I in you, and you in Me. This is the intimate adventure I offer you.

Stay Strong!

Something Out of Nothing
Are you believing God for something today that seems impossible?

We serve a great and mighty God, and He can create something out of nothing.

He can make a way when there seems to be no way!

Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

But before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void.

If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too!

He can speak light into your darkest hour.

He can take your formless dreams and give them shape.

He can resurrect your dormant gifts and talents!

He can make your crooked places straight!

Remember, you are created in the image of Almighty God.

There's power in your words, and there's power when you're in agreement with Him.

Start saying what God says about your situation.

Speak life to your broken dreams today.

Stay in an attitude of faith and expectancy and embrace victory all the days of your life!
